// 01 — the story

From apprentice to co-founder

  1. Childhood

    A mentor at home

    From a very young age he learned to code with his uncle, Bryan Bolívar. At 11 he was already building product and seeing the full software cycle: from idea to market launch.

  2. 2015

    CoderLabs is born

    Bryan incorporates CoderLabs as a software factory. Over the years he becomes its sole owner, serving occasional clients through the company.

  3. 2020

    University, pandemic and a decision

    His first year of university coincides with the pandemic. He decides to devote all his time to building a business and moves in with Bryan to build together.

  4. 2021

    Relaunching CoderLabs

    Uncle and nephew relaunch CoderLabs as co-founders. For one to two years they work day and night: finding clients, consolidating processes and launching new digital products and services.

  5. Next

    Taking the helm

    In the first pandemic years Bryan ran the company; then leadership passed to Jesús, who led its growth stage.

  6. 2025

    Closing his CEO chapter

    He closes his chapter leading CoderLabs and continues as co-founder of Hola FOMO, the EventTech platform CoderLabs co-founded and built from scratch.

// 02 — his time at the helm

What he built at CoderLabs

Recognition

He took CoderLabs to recognition in Barranquilla, building its own products and products for large companies across very different industries.

Community

He brought the company into many of the city's tech and entrepreneurship communities as mentor, partner and organizer.

Startup ecosystem

He helped strengthen the startup ecosystem: from organizing El Bordillo with Caribe Startup to mentoring the Barranqui-IA Hackathon.

Clients that grow

He consolidated a model where clients who work with CoderLabs grow their technology infrastructure, and that shows in their sales.

// 03 — today

The same principle: create, support and share

Today he is co-founder and Head of Product & Technology at Hola FOMO, the most connected startup in Barranquilla's ecosystem, with more than 17,000 active users and over 400 events every month. He is also co-founder and COO of Ikoodi, and keeps teaching, mentoring and investing in the ecosystem.
